I am an isotope geochemist, and like all isotope geochemists, I like to build and tinker with instruments, develop new analytical methods and new isotopic tools to understand elemental cycles on Earth. I am particularly interested in the response of biogeochemical cycles to environmental change, astrobiology and the geological record of the co-evolution of the biosphere, atmosphere and oceans.
