You can contact Dave directly. In doing so, please include any specific interests, and the time you could potentially commit (hrs/week) to research during that given period.
Research is in the group is often collaborative. You can expect to start in the lab during your first semester, and through reading/conversation/etc. develop a project that reflects both your interests and the expertise of the current group members toward the end of the first year.
Once enrolled, all graduate students are provided generous financial support, including research and teaching assistantships, full tuition, and a research allowance. Prospective students are encouraged to apply for outside funding from agencies (such as the National Science Foundation) prior to arriving, and will be involved in grant writing and fund raising throughout their graduate experience.
For information about the application process and admissions to the graduate program, please see Harvard EPS Admissions Page. If there are further questions, please contact the Graduate Program Coordinator, Aimee Smith.
